Hostal La Andaluza
San Fernando is a quiet and pleasant city to go for a walk, both on Calle Real, which is pedestrian right from our door, and on the paths that run through the old salt pans of the Natural Park. We have a magnificent natural beach, long and with fine sand, with some remains of structures that evoke the past, such as the bastions and bunkers and, for those who manage to reach the end, Punta del Boquerón, with the Castle of Sancti Petri in the background . Marshes and sea make San Fernando an island, La Isla de León, linked from the Middle Ages to naval construction and the Navy. You can not miss the Illustrious Mariners'Pantheon, the Naval Museum and the Navy's Royal Observatory. The peculiarity of being an island made it, along with Cádiz, the only peninsular Spanish territory that did not succumb to the Napoleonic troops and where the Constitution of 1812 was signed. History, nature and life, a lot of life: Carnival, Holy Week, Fair. .. and of course flamenco.
Our hotel is located at number 226 of Calle Real, near the exit to Cádiz and Camposoto beach and about 20 minutes walk from the Plaza del Rey, the center of the city. The proximity of the CA-33 highway (300 meters) and the bus stop to Cádiz less than five minutes walk, makes our place,if your intention is to visit the coast of Cadiz, the best starting point.
And because we always need something else, in the nearby there are restaurants, supermarkets, hairdressers, gas station, pharmacy, bank, tobacconist, lottery administration, laundry ....
